Vision Action Workshop for the Shires

350 VT

Date: October 6th, 2018

Time: 9:00am-4:30pm

Location: Martha Canfield Library in Arlington, Vermont

Who: Residents, students, workers, farmers, energy committee members, teachers, parents from towns all across southwestern Vermont.

To create the town, the state, and the world that we want, we first need to imagine it through a process of collective visioning! Our hope is that by creating a broader vision together, residents can devise bold, inclusive plans with action steps that look beyond a few small fixes, toward towns that promote collaboration, energy conservation, equality, a just transition, resilience and respect for nature and one another.

We hope all who were involved in the resolution campaign, or voted in favor of the resolution this past Town Meeting day, will be a part of this process. However, if you are new to this movement, don’t hesitate to join us now– all are welcome!

Details:

This event includes a potluck lunch, so those attending should bring a plate to share. Other snacks and beverages will also be provided.

Do you have any other special access needs? We are happy to make arrangements for childcare, translation, or other ways to support everyone’s involvement.

Thank you for your continued involvement in the work for climate justice. I hope to see you on the 6th!
