He is also, on a PayRoll of Capt Bigelow Lawrence's Company in Col. Walbridge's Regiment for service done in the alarm at Cambridge and Saratoga in July, 1781. He was in service for 4 days and he traveled 50 miles. His total rations and wages were 0.17.3 Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J. E. Goodrich 1904pg. (398)
Benjamin Dyer is on a Pay Roll of Capt. Bigelow Lawrence's Company in Col. Walbridge's Regt. for service done at Castleton in the Alarm, in Oct. 1781. He spent 8 days in service and traveled 55 miles.

He is also on “A Pay Roll of Capt. Josiah Fish's Company of Foot in the 1st Regt. of Militia in Gen. Fletcher's Brigade, commanded by Stephen R. Bradley, Colo., performed in the month of Sept. 1782 assisting the Sheriff in carrying into execution the law & c:” on wh. are the following names, -the columns of miles & amount of pay are not given.
