revolutionary war flagSergt. Charles Dyer is on a PayRoll of Capt. Cyperan Downer's Alarm Co. in Col. Herrick's Reg't of Militia while in service October,1780. His days of service were 12 and he traveled 55 miles. Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J. E. Goodrich 1904 pg. (240)
