revolutionary war flagNathan Wheeler was on a Pay Roll of Capt. Cyperan Downer's Alarm Company in Col. Herrick's Reg't of Militia while in service Oct.1780. He was in service for 10 days and traveled 55 miles. State of Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J.E. Goodrich 1904 pg. 240)
