revolutionary war flagSergt. Isaac Spencer served with Captain Jonas Galusha's Company in Col. Herrick's Regiment for service done in the alarm in Oct.1780. He was in service for 14 days and traveled 110 miles. State of Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J. E. Goodrich 1904 pg. 246.

Isaac Spencer is on a Pay Roll of Capt. Downer's Company of Militia in Col. Ebenezer Walbridge's Regiment, called to Castleton by reason of Alarm in the month of October, 1781. His service began Oct. 15, 1781 and ended Oct. 25, 1781. He was in service for 13 days and traveled 53 miles. State of Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J. E. Goodrich 1904 pg. 480.
