He also served in Capt. Daniel Comstock's Company in the service of the State of Vermont, from ye beginning of the campaign, 1781, to the 30th of June in said year, inclusive- taken from the original in the Paymaster's Office.) He served with Capt. Cyprian Downer's Company, Shaftsbury, 1781. Pay Roll for going to Saratoga on an Expedition. He traveled 30 miles in two days. State of Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J. E. Goodrich 1904 pg. 431)

Lt. Isaac Andrus was still with Capt. Downer's Company of Militia in Col. Ebenezer Walbridge's Regiment, called to Castleton by reason of Alarm in the month of October, 1781. He was in service from Oct. 12, 1781 to Oct. 25, 1781. His service lasted 13 days and his milage travel was 53. State of Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J. E. Goodrich 1904 pg. 480)

Lt. Isaac Andrus was on “A Pay Roll of Capt. Matteson's Company of Militia for assisting the Sheriff in Windham County in the month of Sept. 1782:” on which the following persons are allowed for 4 days service each.
