revolutionary war flagIchabod Cross was on a Pay Roll of Capt. Bigelow Lawrence's Company in Col. Herrick's Regi-ment of Militia while in the the service in the alarm October 1780. He was in service for 7 days and traveled 55 miles. State of Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J.E. Goodrich 1904 pg. 228

Ichabod is also, on a PayRoll of Capt Bigelow Lawrence's Company in Col. Walbridge's Regiment for service done in the alarm at Cambridge and Saratoga in July, 1781. He was in service for 2 days and he traveled 25 miles. Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J. E. Goodrich 1904 pg. 398
