Amos Galusha, step-brother of Gov. Galusha, served in Capt. Jonas Galusha's Company in Col. Herrick's Regiment for service done in the alarm in Oct. 1780 . He spent 14 days in service and traveled 110 miles. State of Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J.E. Goodrich 1904 pg. 246)
Amos was also on the Pay Roll of Capt. Bigelow Lawrence's Company in Col. Walbridge's Regt. for service done at Castleton in the Alarm, in Oct. 1781. He spent 10 days in service and walked 55 miles. State of Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J.E. Goodrich 1904 pg. 485)
