revolutionary war flag Timothy Carpenter is on a True List of (names and sums of) Abner Seely's Pay Roll of himself and company in the service of the State of Vermont, from the beginning of the campaign, 1781 to the 30th of June in said year, inclusive, taken from the original. He was paid 2.4.0 Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J. E. Goodrich 1904 pg. (385)

He is also, on a Pay Roll of Capt. Abner Seely's Company in Col. Benj. Wait's Battalion in service of the State of Vermont, from the first day of July, 1781 to the 30th day of November, in 1781 inclusive. His days of service were 141 and he traveled 80 miles. Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J. E. Goodrich 1904 pg. (537)

He next appears on a Pay Roll of Capt. Benjamin Whitney's Company in the State of Vermont, at Guilford and other adjacent parts in the county of Windham from the first day of the 30th of Oct. 1783, to the 1st of March, 1784, inclusive.
