revolutionary war flag Capt. Peter Wright's name appears on a Pay Roll of Capt. Cyprean Downer's Alarm Co. in Col. Herrick's Reg't of Militia while in service October, 1780. His days of service were 18 and his miles traveled were 110. He was paid 3 pounds 0 shillings and 8 pence.

Peter Wright is on a Pay Roll of Capt. Bigelow Lawrence's Company in Col. Walbridge's Regt. for service done in the alarm at Cambridge and Saratoga in July, 1781. He spent three days in service and traveled 50 miles. He was paid 1 pound. 0 shillings and 8 pence.
