revolutionary war flag John Standley is on a PayRoll of Capt Bigelow Lawrence's Company in Col. Walbridge's Regi-ment for service done in the alarm at Cambridge and Saratoga in July, 1781. His days of service were 2 and he traveled 25 miles. Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J. E. Goodrich 1904 pg. (399)

John Standley is also, on a Pay Roll of Capt. Cyprian Downer's Company, Shaftsbury, 1781. Pay Roll for going to Saratoga on an Expedition. He traveled about 30 miles in two days. Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J. E. Goodrich 1904 pg. (431)

Next John is on a Pay Roll of Capt. Downer's Company of Militia in Col. Ebenezer Walbridge's Regiment, called to Castleton by reason of Alarm in the month of October, 1781. His service began Oct. 12, 1781 and ended Oct. 25, 1781. He was in service for 13 days and traveled 53 miles. State of Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J. E.
