Daniel Salisbury, son of Nathan, appears on a Pay Roll of Capt. Bigelow Lawrence's Company in Col. Herrick's Regiment of Militia while in the service in the alarm, October 1780. Daniel was in service 17 days and traveled 110 miles.
State of Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 (J.E. Goodrich 1904) pg. 229.

Daniel Salisbury appears on a Pay Roll of Capt. Bigelow Lawrence's Company in Col. Walbridge's Reg. for service done at Castleton in the alarm, October 1781. Daniel was in service 8 days and traveled 55 miles.
