Elihu Cross is on a Pay Roll of Capt. Bigelow Lawrence's Company in Col. Walbridge's Regt. for service done in the alarm at Cambridge and Saratoga in July, 1781. He spent two days in service and traveled 25 miles. State of Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J.E. Goodrich 1904 pg. 399)

Elihu Cross is on a Pay Roll of Capt. Bigelow Lawrence's Company in Col. Walbridge's Regt. for service done at Castleton in the alarm, in Oct. 1781. He spent 20 days in service and traveled 55 miles. State of Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J.E. Goodrich 1904 pg. 484)

He is on the Pay Roll of Capt. Bigelow Lawrence's Company, Col Walbridge's Regiment for services done in assisting the sheriff in Windham County, in Sept. 1782, said company commanded by Ensign Josiah Perry. He was allowed two days of service and traveled 17 miles. State of Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J. E. Goodrich 1904 pg. 603)
