A man of this name was court marshaled at Ticonderoga 16 Oct. 1776 (Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors in the War of the Revolution, vol. 12, p.221)

His name does not appear in Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 (J. E. Goodrich 1904). Lieut. Rufus Perry was not a GMB but did serve in the state of MA.
