David Corey was on the Pay Roll of Capt. Peleg Mattison's Company of Militia for service done on an Expedition to the Northward, Shaftsbury, 1781 He was in service for 6 days and traveled 55 miles. State of Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J. E. Goodrich 1904 pg. 519
