Benjamin Corey was on a Pay Roll due to the State of Vermont to Capt. John Benjamin's Com-pany Militia under the command of Col. Joseph Marsh from 16th of August to 4th Oct. 1777. He was in service a for a total of 1 mo. and 20 days and traveled 150 miles. State of Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J. E. Goodrich 1904 pg. 29

En. Benjamin Corey was on the Pay Roll of Capt. Cyprian Downer's Alarm Company in Col. Her-rick's Regt. of Militia while in service Oct.1780. He was in service for 17 days and traveled 110 miles. State of Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J.E. Goodrich 1904 pg. 240

En. Benjamin Corey was with Capt. Cyprian Downer's Company, Shaftsbury, 1781, Pay Roll for go-ing to Saratoga on an Expedition. He traveled 30 miles in two days. State of Vermont Rolls in the Revolutionary War 1775-1883 J. E. Goodrich 1904 pg. 431
