Parade Line-Up & Rules
Line-Up: 5:00 p.m. at Peckham-Dailey's
1358 VT Route 7A, Shaftsbury
KICK-OFF IS AT 6:00 P.M. SHARP!
Registration & Check-in is required.
Please check in with Gina Jenks upon arrival.
Parade Rules
- Parade directors have the right to refuse or remove any entry.
- If anyone fails to obey these rules or the directions of law enforcement, they may not be allowed to participate in future parades.
- Vehicles: All vehicles must be lighted.
- Generators: Generators must be secured and kept away from combustible items. No refueling of generators is allowed once the parade is in motion.
- Drivers: Drivers must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
- Music: Holiday music only. Please be courteous of other floats that are also playing music.
- Santa Claus: No Santa Claus costumes are permitted. There will be only one Santa Claus in the parade.
- No handouts are permitted along the parade route.
- No walkers.
- No bicycles.
- No hanging or dangling from vehicles or floats.
Cancellations
The parade will go on rain or snow unless extreme weather conditions make it necessary to cancel.
