Shaftsbury Participates in Window Dressers Workshop
Posted: October 19, 2025
On Saturday, October 18, several Shaftsbury residents joined the Window Dressers build workshop, helping to assemble energy-saving window inserts. Shaftsbury took part in this effort because the Town has ordered custom inserts for the new Municipal Office building.
As part of the Window Dressers program, each order includes a volunteer-based build event where purchasers and community members work side by side to construct the inserts, keeping costs low while fostering collaboration and sustainability.
Representing Shaftsbury at the build were Naomi Miller, Joan Dornhoefer, Paula Iken, and Jen Holley, who joined other volunteers to cut, assemble, and finish the inserts. Their teamwork supports the Town’s ongoing commitment to improving energy efficiency and reducing heating costs in our municipal buildings, saving tax dollars.
The Town thanks all participants and the Window Dressers organization for helping make this project possible.
