Town Service Officer

The town service officer is charged with assisting individuals within the town who require emergency food, fuel or shelter assistance.

This official is called upon only when the Vermont Department of Social Welfare is closed on the weekends and after office hours. At these times, the service officer helps individuals in need to obtain the necessary goods and services until the Department of Social Welfare is open.
