Bridge Replacement Project - VT-67, Bridge No. 1 over Cold Spring Brook

North Bennington, VT – A Public Meeting on the project listed below will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 beginning at 7:00 PM at the North Bennington Village Offices, located at 4 Depot Street in North Bennington, VT. The meeting will be held by the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTrans) at the regularly scheduled Trustee meeting.

Bridge replacement project:
Shaftsbury STP 014-1(6) – VT-67, Bridge No. 1 over Cold Spring Brook
The project consists of replacing the existing bridge with a new structure with related roadway and approach work. Traffic will be maintained with an off-site detour while the roadway is closed for bridge replacement.
The intent of the meeting is to provide an overview of this bridge replacement project to Local Officials, residents and businesses, emergency services and other interested parties. There will be a review of the existing site conditions, proposed work, and overall schedule followed by a question and answer period. Representatives from both VTrans and local government will be available at the meeting to address public concerns about the project.
