Shaftsbury Celebrates Retiring Town Administrator

The Town of Shaftsbury held a celebration to honor the retirement of our esteemed Town Administrator, David Kiernan, on January 11th. It was a gathering filled with warmth and camaraderie, as friends, citizens, and colleagues alike joined in a festive afternoon. Guests enjoyed delightful refreshments and engaging conversations, seizing the opportunity to express their gratitude and best wishes to David for his well-deserved retirement.
David's dedication to the town has been unwavering, and he plans to continue contributing his invaluable expertise. He will take a well-earned break in February, after which he will graciously serve as the Part-Time, Interim Town Administrator. This interim period will provide the necessary support to the Town while the
search for a new Town Administrator is underway.
For those who couldn't attend the event, there's still a chance to bid farewell to David in person, as his final day in office will be January 23rd.
