East Road Paving Project - October 19-20, 2026

The Town of Shaftsbury would like to inform residents and motorists that Springfield Paving will be conducting paving operations on East Road on Monday, October 19, and Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

Work will take place along the northern section of East Road, beginning just north of 1981 East Road and continuing to the point where the paved roadway transitions to dirt.

During paving operations, traffic will be reduced to one lane, with flaggers directing vehicles safely through the work zone. Temporary traffic signage will also be in place.

Motorists should anticipate possible delays, use caution when traveling through the area, and follow all posted signs and directions from traffic control personnel.

The Town appreciates everyone's patience and cooperation as these roadway improvements are completed.
